APPLICATION
The press is used to evaluate the quality of moulding sands used in the high-pressure moulding process. The use of apparatus enables the following operations to be made:
- preparation of cylindrical specimens Ø 50x50 mm at an arbitrary pressure
- measurement of compactability
- measurement of bulk density

Anwendung

- zur Erzeugung von zylinderförmigen Prüfstäben bei einem vorbestimmten spezifischen Druck im Bereich von 0 bis 5 MPa;
- zur Bestimmung der Eindickungsfähigkeit von Formmassen;
- zur Bestimmung der Fliessbarkeit nach Orlow.
